Joel Salomon

Joel Salomon is a Prosperity Coach, international speaker, bestselling author, and former hedge fund manager who helps people connect prosperity mindset financial freedom with practical financial knowledge. His work focuses on the beliefs people carry about money, success, fear, and possibility, showing how mindset can influence financial decisions and long-term change.

Known as “The Money Doctor,” Joel helps people rewrite their money stories, challenge limiting beliefs, and develop a healthier relationship with abundance. His approach combines decades of financial experience with the laws of attraction, bringing together practical money knowledge and the inner work behind lasting prosperity.

Before becoming a Prosperity Coach, Joel built his career on Wall Street. He managed a $700 million portfolio for Citi and generated positive returns in 2008, even as markets fell sharply. He later founded SaLaurMor Capital, a hedge fund named after his daughters, Lauren and Morgan. This experience gave him firsthand insight into investment strategy, risk, fear, and the behaviors that shape financial decisions.

Today, Joel uses those lessons to help others pursue prosperity mindset financial freedom with greater confidence and intention. He is the author of three bestselling books: The 9 Money Rules Millionaires Use, Infinite Love and Money, co-written with Mollie Singh, and Mindful Money Management. Through his writing, coaching, and speaking, he explores how mindset and money can work together rather than against each other.

An award-winning TEDx speaker, Joel has delivered more than 30 workshops on prosperity mindset and has spoken to audiences ranging from Rotary Clubs and MBA programs to Girl Scouts and international conferences. His work has also been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, U.S. News & World Report, Bloomberg Radio, and more than 150 podcasts.

Beyond coaching, Joel founded SaLaurMor Charitable Giving Inc., a nonprofit focused on teaching financial literacy to children under 18. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst, Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, and Certified Infinite Possibilities Trainer.

Outside his professional work, Joel is an avid traveler who has visited more than 60 countries. He also enjoys skiing and spending time laughing with his two daughters.
