Nick Jain

Co-Founder of Eagle Rock CFO

“Instinct works on the savanna – not in modern life.”

Nick Jain has built his career around making financial guidance for businesses more accessible to growing companies that need sophisticated expertise but cannot justify the cost or structure of a Fortune 500 finance department. His experience spans mathematics, private equity, executive leadership, and corporate finance, giving small and mid-sized businesses access to practical financial insight.

As co-founder of Eagle Rock CFO Services, Nick helps companies access high-level financial thinking at a scale that fits their operations. His work focuses on businesses in the $5 million to $50 million range, giving growing organizations access to strategies and financial playbooks typically associated with much larger corporations.

Nick's path into business leadership began with a foundation in mathematics and physics. He later earned his MBA from Harvard Business School, where he graduated at the top of his class. That analytical background became a cornerstone of a career built around understanding complex businesses, evaluating opportunities, and making decisions through both numbers and strategy.

Before moving into operational leadership, Nick spent a decade in private equity. That experience gave him a close look at how businesses create value, manage resources, and approach growth. However, his career eventually moved beyond evaluating companies from the outside.

Nick went on to lead business turnarounds as both a CFO and CEO across trucking, software, and eCommerce. Working across different industries gave him practical experience applying financial strategy in real operating environments, where decisions have immediate consequences for teams, customers, and the future of a company.

Today, his work at Eagle Rock CFO Services brings those experiences together. His approach to financial guidance for businesses is rooted in making sophisticated financial practices useful and accessible rather than unnecessarily complicated.

For growing business owners, Nick's perspective connects financial discipline with practical leadership. His career demonstrates how tools used by large corporations can be adapted for smaller organizations, giving leaders stronger financial insight as they navigate growth, change, and increasingly complex business decisions.
