Dr. Greg Yuen
Psychiatrist & Wellness Teacher, Do-In Practitioner
“Through mindful touch, we reconnect and restore our wholeness and health.”
After losing his grandmother at age twelve, Dr. Greg Yuen became determined to understand mindful self-care and longevity. That early experience began a journey that would span more than forty years across psychiatry, tai chi, ongoing, massage therapy, and natural healing.
Today, Dr. Yuen shares Do-in Mindful Self-Massage, a practice focused on mindful touch, body awareness, and reconnecting the mind with the body. He believes that becoming more aware of your whole body can encourage intentional self-care and help people develop a deeper connection with their overall well-being.
“Through mindful touch, we reconnect and restore our wholeness and health.
In this episode of the Project Candor Podcast, Dr. Yuen discusses the mind-body connection, chi or vital energy, tai chi, ongoing, and how Do-in can become part of a consistent wellness routine. He also explains why meaningful change comes from the small choices we make every day.
Every day you have a choice.
”Rather than searching for a quick solution, Dr. Yuen encourages consistency and greater awareness of the body. His approach to Do-in Mindful Self-Massage reflects a simple idea: the way we care for ourselves today can influence our health and well-being over time.
