David Ask

David Ask is an entrepreneur, inventor, identity coach, and speaker who believes meaningful growth begins with understanding who you are before deciding what you do. His work centers on identity, purpose, resilience, and helping people recognize the strengths that already exist within them.

As the creator of StatGuardPlus, David transformed a simple idea into a successful consumer product carried in more than 3,700 retail stores, including The Home Depot and Lowe’s. Building a product from the ground up gave him firsthand experience with entrepreneurship, uncertainty, risk, failure, and perseverance. Rather than allowing challenges to define his path, David learned to use them as opportunities for growth and greater self-awareness.

These experiences shaped his perspective on resilience. For David, resilience is not simply about pushing through difficult circumstances. It begins with having a strong sense of identity and knowing the values, strengths, and purpose that guide your decisions when life becomes uncertain.

Today, David serves as Lead Coach for the True North Resiliency Program, where he helps individuals, families, teams, and organizations develop stronger internal cultures through identity-focused transformation. His coaching encourages people to look beyond job titles, achievements, and external expectations to better understand who they are at their core.

Through his work, David helps people discover their purpose, develop grit, strengthen resilience, and uncover abilities they may not yet recognize in themselves. He believes that when people understand their identity, they can approach challenges with greater confidence, clarity, and intention.
