Dr. David Amponsah

Integrating science and spirituality has become the defining thread of Dr. David Amponsah’s work. With 33 years of experience as a Doctor of Medicine, he has built a career that brings together clinical knowledge, research, spiritual leadership, and humanitarian service. His journey reflects a belief that science and Spirit do not have to exist separately, and that bringing them into alignment can create opportunities for deeper transformation.

Throughout his medical career, Dr. David has worked as both a physician and clinical researcher. His research contributions have influenced approaches to the treatment of AIDS and leukemia, adding another dimension to a career grounded in medicine and patient care. In 2025, he was recognized as one of the Top 100 Internists by Who’s Who in America. The previous year, he received a Distinguished Humanitarian Award recognizing his global impact.

Yet medicine represents only one part of his life’s work.

Alongside his scientific career, Dr. David has cultivated a lifelong spiritual calling. He is an ordained Bishop and founded Fountain of Life Ministries in 2005. Through his ministry and humanitarian work, he has participated in healing initiatives and service efforts reaching communities in Africa, India, the Dominican Republic, and Kenya.

His work in Kenya included supporting an orphanage, an effort that earned him an international humanitarian award. These experiences have allowed him to bring his commitment to healing beyond traditional clinical environments and into communities where service, spirituality, and human connection play equally meaningful roles.

Today, integrating science and spirituality remains central to Dr. David’s mission. Rather than treating medical science and Spirit as competing perspectives, he explores what becomes possible when the two work together.

His approach reflects decades spent moving between research, medicine, ministry, and humanitarian service. At the center is a conviction that lasting transformation can emerge when rigorous scientific understanding is aligned with the transformative power of Spirit.
