Amber Gregory
Mom, Author, Advocate for Children
“Survive and Thrive”
Amber Gregory is a mom, author, and passionate advocate focused on building trust and connection for children and families navigating the effects of trauma. Through her books, teaching, and work with foster and adoptive families, she brings compassion and education to conversations about healing, safety, attachment, and helping children feel deeply loved.
Her advocacy is rooted in personal experience. Amber's first book, Little Sweetheart, shares her own journey of healing after sexual abuse. Through her story, she brings greater understanding to experiences that can be difficult to discuss while helping shine a light on the importance of education, awareness, and healing.
Her second book, Learning to Be Loved, focuses on adoptive families and explores how they can help children rediscover trust and connection. This commitment to building trust and connection is central to Amber's work. She believes families can create meaningful bonds by helping children experience the safety, compassion, and consistent love they need.
Amber also speaks and teaches on important topics including grooming, the cycle of abuse, and healing attachment wounds. Her goal is to help parents and families better understand the challenges children who have experienced trauma may face. Through education, she encourages families to create environments where children can develop a greater sense of safety and belonging.
Alongside her advocacy, Amber is pursuing her master's in theology and ministry, following her call to serve foster and adoptive families with compassion and hope. Her studies complement a broader mission centered on supporting families and helping children experience meaningful connection.
At the heart of Amber's work is her belief that love, education, and inclusiveness can transform lives. She recognizes the powerful role families can play in helping children rebuild trust and form bonds that heal.
Whether through her books, workshops, teaching, or conversations with parents, Amber continues to advocate for children and the families supporting them. Her message is ultimately one of hope: with compassion, understanding, education, and love, families can create stronger connections and help children feel safe, supported, and deeply loved.
