Jim Paulk

Jim Paulk

Business Consultant, Author, and Marine Conservationist

“I am FEARLESS, willing to take on any project and get it done. I've lived by this my whole life (92 years old), whether I knew it or not.”

James D. Paulk Jr. (Jim) graduated from the United States Naval Academy and served as a U.S. Navy submarine officer, both on active duty and in the Naval Reserve. After a successful 26-year career in manufacturing management with Procter & Gamble, Jim co-founded a business consulting firm before beginning a second career in marine conservation.

For nine years, Jim led efforts to eliminate destructive gill nets in California, build artificial reefs, support white sea bass restoration programs, and advocate for legislation benefiting recreational anglers. A respected writer, speaker, and conservationist, he has contributed to fishing publications, lectured at universities, appeared on television and radio, and received numerous awards for his contributions to fishing and marine conservation.

Jim now lives in Kingsland, Georgia, near the coastal Georgia community where he grew up.
